Tado, a German company, may have just revolutionized the way we use our air conditioners. They’ve been working towards a change in the way people use these cooling units for years and have finally come up with a device that they just recently unveiled to the world in a New York event.
According to an article on Time, “Tados’ device lets homeowners automatically control the temperature in their house. Based on a cell phone app, it detects when the home owner leaves and returns, and adjusts the air conditioning accordingly.”
When this device is released for people to use, consumers will be able to save us much as 40% in their energy bills. And since Tado’s goal is to target 85% of the world’s AC-using population, the invention of this device could turn out to be a huge green revolution as well.
